Make a payment
Paying us.
Once we have agreed an itinerary and a total, this is how the money moves. Everything here is in the currency we quoted you.
What you are paying
A 25% deposit confirms your dates and lets us apply for your visa. The balance falls due 30 days before you arrive. Your quote states the total including the Sustainable Development Fee, the 5% GST and every other charge — there is nothing to settle on arrival.
Non-Indian visitors pay in US dollars. Indian nationals pay in Indian rupees.
Card
When you confirm, we email you an invoice for the deposit, and later one for the balance. Each carries your booking reference and the amount we agreed. Open the invoice's payment button and pay by Visa, Mastercard or another major card on our bank's secure payment page.
We see the payment straight away, so your visa application can go in the same day.
Bank transfer
A direct SWIFT transfer to our account at Bhutan National Bank. Sensible for larger group bookings where card fees start to matter.
Allow three to seven working days. Your own bank may charge a correspondent fee of USD 25–50, which is outside our control.
Account details are issued with your invoice — we never send bank details unprompted, and if you receive an email claiming ours have changed, phone us before you act on it.
Wise
Many of our guests use Wise rather than their own bank. The exchange rate is usually better and the fee is lower than a SWIFT transfer. Same account details as above.
